Summer 2009 hot tub forecast – ‘Odds on for a barbeque summer’

The Met Office website predicts: The coming summer is ‘odds on for a barbecue summer’, according to long-range forecasts. Summer temperatures across the UK are likely to be warmer than average and rainfall near or below average for the three months of summer.

Chief Meteorologist at the Met Office, Ewen McCallum, said: “After two disappointingly-wet summers, the signs are much more promising this year. We can expect times when temperatures will be above 30°C, something we hardly saw at all last year.”

In these tough enonomic times, that’s great news for the spa and hot tub industry as a whole and surely now is the time to start feeling more positive about the rest of 2009.

Euphoria boys say beware of buying hot tubs or spas from non BISHTA members

A BISHTA member hot tub specialist recently alerted BISHTA head office about a potentially dangerous hot tub that they were servicing for a customer, that had been purchased from a non member.  Due to the BISHTA member’s quick response, the tub was made safe and as there was a potential entrapment issue, the appropriate Health and Safety authorities were contacted.  BISHTA members are asked to inform head office if they deal with, or hear about any potential issues such as this and they will be followed up immediately.

Euphoria Lifestyle changes its opening times

At last our clocks have changed (to British summer time) giving us longer evenings. Longer evenings means more time for us to spend  in our gardens at the end of each day. Euphoria Lifestyle has now changed its showroom opening times at Shoots Garden Centre to meet with the change to BST. Now open Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm, Saturdays 10am to 5.30pm and Sundays (and Bank Holidays) 10.30pm to 4.30pm. Mothering Sunday – Buy your beloved mum a Jacuzzi hot tub!

Here we are on Mothering Sunday – what better to buy your mother that a Jacuzzi hot tub?  It’s less than an hour after opening and already we’ve sold a spa for one lucky mum!  The weather is fantastic and it’s great to see so many people at the garden centre!  Cars are queing to get into the car park.  Come on you know you want to treat you mum to something special today…

My First Blog

Welcome to world of BLOGGING. .. and so i find my self writing my first blog.

Sitting from the comfort of the Euphoria Lifestyle showroom on this sunny weekend that is  Fun and Family weekend at shoots garden centre.  Frank has just made the first hot tub sale of the weekend a Jacuzzi J280, (well done Frank), Mike … well Mike has to stay with in a minute dash from the bathroom today… ‘duggy tum’ need i say more on that topic? Nah!
